Digdown Gallery
There's a cinematic quality to the photographs by Digdown Gallery that make them feel as if they are stills taken from a film. Looking at the boy at the end of the diving board in The Pool we can't help but wonder what his story is. These photos draw the viewer in and invite them to try to understand more about what they are trying to say.

Futorowoman Fotographie
Polaroid film may be a dying format but there are plenty of photographers doing their bit to keep the art of Polaroid photography alive. Futorowoman is one of those. She combines the faded, vintage feel that Polaroid film gives with subjects such as Blythe dolls, the American Southwest and city life to present a stunning collection that provides a compelling case for the rejuvenation of the Polaroid as a popular film format.

Rocky Top Studio
Today was the first 'proper' day of winter here- I woke up to a thick layer of frost covering every surface and a fine mist in the air. It reminded me of Alison Trentelman's photographs, many of which were taken in the middle of winter when that cold mist fills the air and turns everything pale.
