She combines the faded, vintage feel that Polaroid film gives with subjects such as Blythe dolls, the American Southwest and city life to present a stunning collection that provides a compelling case for the rejuvenation of the Polaroid as a popular film format.

Today was the first 'proper' day of winter here- I woke up to a thick layer of frost covering every surface and a fine mist in the air. It reminded me of Alison Trentelman's photographs, many of which were taken in the middle of winter when that cold mist fills the air and turns everything pale.
