Polaroid film may be a dying format but there are plenty of photographers doing their bit to keep the art of Polaroid photography alive. Futorowoman is one of those. She combines the faded, vintage feel that Polaroid film gives with subjects such as Blythe dolls, the American Southwest and city life to present a stunning collection that provides a compelling case for the rejuvenation of the Polaroid as a popular film format.

Today was the first 'proper' day of winter here- I woke up to a thick layer of frost covering every surface and a fine mist in the air. It reminded me of Alison Trentelman's photographs, many of which were taken in the middle of winter when that cold mist fills the air and turns everything pale.

Such a big range of themes could seem make some photographer's Etsy stores seem jumbled and cluttered, but Jane's capable hands (and eyes) mean that the collection really comes together and each piece seems to compliment the others.
